Samonella Outbreak - January 2009

Salmonella typhimurium found in some produts containing processed peanuts*. Hundreds of products recalled. Hundreds of people sickened across the country.
*The health risk comes from a processed peanut paste that was made and sold as an ingredient in other products that you can find on the recall list. So far, peanut butter sold in jars direct to consumers has NOT been recalled for salmonella.
