Safe Routes to School
PHS was fortunate enough to receive funds from the Department of Roads to assist several area communities in combating childhood obesity. By working with schools and local leaders we are able to increase safe walking and biking to school, and general healthy choices among students, their parents, and even their teachers! Below is a list of schools that have participated and a brief synopsis of some of the program activities they conducted:
