Stress and Food
- Avoid foods that will give your body and mind extreme highs and lows such as sugar as it causes blood sugar to spike and fall quickly which will make your energy level dip.
- Avoid caffeine and alcohol
- Choose foods high in folic acid and B vitamins. They assist in making serotonin which is a chemical in the brain that is a stress reliever.
- Choose foods high in vitamin C. They contain antioxidants that fight free radicals that are released into your body when you are stressed.
