Every Woman Matters
EWM is a FREE health program for women ages 40-64, with some or no health insurance, and a medium or low income. It can help you get your annual checkups for free or a low cost ($5) donation.
EWM pays for the following annual exams, including the office visit:
- Pelvic exam with a Pap test, and lab work
- Clinical breast exam
- Teaching of breast self exam
- Blood pressure check
- Cholesterol check
- Blood sugar (glucose) check
- Mammogram & radiologist fee
- Colon Cancer screening (age 50+)
EWM also pays for follow up tests including cervical and breast biopsies and other tests to diagnose breast & cervical cancer.
How do you qualify?
- Women 40-64 years of age
- Do not belong to Medicaid
- Do not belong to Medicare
- Do not belong to an HMO (other insurance is okay)
- Have a medium to low income
