Recommendations for Increases in Influenza Activity
Get immunized. If you have not yet been vaccinated against flu, now is the perfect time. Contact your healthcare provider or Kate, at 402 826 3880, for more information.
Be a Germ Wise Family!
- Wash hands frequently and avoid touching your face.
- Be considerate and stay home if you are ill.
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then throw the tissue away and wash your hands.
- Cough into your sleeve if you don’t have a tissue.
- Regularly sanitizer surfaces touched by others such as door knobs, phones, handles, desk tops, light switches, etc.
- Get plenty of sleep and physical activity, drink water, and eat healthy food to stay fit over the winter and all year long.
