Public Health Nurse
Works under general supervision to develop and implement public health nursing programs and activities. Works in cooperation with staff from other public health disciplines to achieve department goals and priorities.
BSN preferred. Would consider LPN with at least two years’ experience in a population health setting.
Active Nursing Licensure and CPR certification must be maintained.
Family Support Specialist – Healthy Families America
***$1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS*** Works under the supervision of the Program Manager/Supervisor to assist families by increasing their ability to maintain a safe and nurturing home for their children and to parent effectively. The Family Support Specialist (FSS) will provide support and education for parents and children according to the Healthy Families America Best Practice Standards to assist families in strengths-based parenting.
Bilingual is required. A high school diploma or GED is required. An Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in social/human services or related field desired. Experience in maternal-child health, child development, home visitation, or community-based services. Knowledge of infant and child development. Experience and humility to work with culturally diverse individuals.
Community Health Worker
Works under the general supervision of the Health Equity Coordinator to serve as a bridge between underserved communities and Public Health Solutions’ programs and services. Examples of work include assisting clients with assistance applications, connecting people with outside resources, providing education to the public, and facilitating workshops.
Bilingual is required for this position. A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
